Eto ponovo pređoh na nokiu i zanima me koja je zadnja verzija softa za ovu njoku, i koje su promjene u odnosu na 5.21??

Sto se tice softwera nemam pojma . . . . Neki dan sam vidio da je dosla 7210 . . . jel ima tko taj mobitel . . . pa da mi kaze jel valja ?

Posljednja verzija sw-a za 8850 je 5.31 samo neznam koji je točno datum razvoja verzije.
Razlika može biti u proširenom popisu mrežnih operatera i možda su popravljeni neki sitni bug-ovi ako ih je bilo.

Jesi li cuo za onu "if it ain't broken, don't try to fix it". Neku revoluciju sigurno neces primijetiti, no ima nas svakakvih. Ja npr. stavljam odmah novi soft, cim se pojavi... Prvi sam u Mobisu

Improvement to phi_si component so that emergency call can be done more than once, if there is no SIM card
Improvement to copying long numbers from phone's memory to SIM memory (earlier a wrong note was shown)
Earlier when accessory (Data Suite) was connected during OTA ringing tone demo "Accessory connected" -text replaced the name of the ringing tone on the display. This has been corrected now.
When automatic redial was attempting the second redial the memory entry name was replaced by "Call 1". Now the memory entry name is shown.

BUGS AVAILABLE:
if someone call from a number that end with "88", you can't see the name of caller even if there is a name in memory. Another user claims same problem but with number ending with "98".

Recharge time to much long (5 hours, manual says 2.30 hours) this not a bug, really (you can see with netmonitor), during first 2.30 hours there is the main recharge of battery (BLB2 Li-Ion 650 mA), and last 2.30 hours is a maintenance charge. (this if powered-off phone).
If you recharge with power-on phone, needed time will be 2.30 hours, (charge indicators stop flashing)
If you recharge with power-off phone, needed time will be 5.00 hours, (charge indicators stop flashing)
voice tags: somethings, even if voice tags are on phone-memory, (instead of SIM-memory), when you change SIM card, you miss all voice tags (deleted).
T9: if you should use a different language for menus and T9, every time you change the SIM the T9 language are re-setted to menus language.

In netmonitor (all versions ?) in test 55 you have small type (one 's' too much in last line) in help and info displayed in first line only
On some V 5.11 and 5.16 once you have missed the signal, the phone make difficult to re-sync it, and you must turn off and then on to re-sync. This is no a bug of this firmware, because there are many 8210 v5.11 and 5.16 that works much-fine

Another bug (feature ? ;-)): when save Name entry to phonebook in phone's memory, you see "Saved to phone" display. It has icon from older Nokia phones (unchanged) - phone with the antenna drawn...

Bug (all versions ? - tested for 5.25): when send too long ringtone for phone, in "preview" menu it's cut and played, after saving to location playes only one note...

Verzija softvera 5.31 za 8850 pravi oderedjene probleme, dok je verzija 5.26 super stabilna . Ovo je sve isprobano.

Pa ja koristim tu Nokiu a i moj rođak također, on je upgreadao softver sa 5.21 mislim na 5.31 i kaže da su neke stvari bolje(aparat je puno brzi prilikom rada odnosno brže učita karticu,otvori Inbox itd.) ali je isto tako više nestabilan odnosno katkad jednostavno smrzne što mu se nikad prije nije dogodilo. U mojoj Nokoji verzija softa je 5.26 i ne pravi nikakve probleme!
E sad da ja vas nesto pitam? Koliko sati razgovora može podnijeti jedna prosječna baterija tipa BLB-2 koju koristi 8850?
Evo zašto pitam: Kupio sam ovu Nokiu kod jedne cure koja mi je rekla da je aparat koristila 6 mjeseci i da ju je kupila novu. Aparat ima 70 sati razgovora a baterija mu sad kod mene drži 2 dana bez problema,tako da mi je to malo sumnjivo jer nova baterija drži 3 dana. Iako ne vjerujem da je baterija mjenjana? Što vi mislite?
