Hanover, Germany - With the new Advanced Car Kit CK-7W from Nokia, in-car communications are now more flexible*. The Advanced Car Kit's compatibility with a broad variety of mobile phones means there is no need to install a new handsfree system each time a different phone is
used: The Nokia Advanced Car Kit is Nokia's first car kit to combine two connection methods - wireless connection via Bluetooth technology**, as well as conventional wired connection via mobile holders supporting phones using Nokia's Pop-Port(TM) connector. This gives users a choice between using their mobile phone in the mobile holder or leaving the phone in a briefcase or handbag and taking advantage of wireless Bluetooth technology*** With either option the phone can be operated using a remote control button, which offers functions including answering or ending calls and adjusting volume. The Nokia Advanced Car Kit delivers excellent audio quality in handsfree operation, as well as automatic radio muting. It is expected to be available during the 2nd quarter of 2004 in Europe, Asia and the Americas.
"With the Nokia Advanced Car Kit, Nokia is responding to the needs of many users who would like to use the same handsfree system with different mobile phones", says Waldemar Sakalus, Director Smart Traffic Products. "People today often have more than one mobile phone, or a car might be used by several family members with different phones. This is where the Nokia Advanced Car Kit offers the ideal solution. You only might need to change your mobile holder, but not the entire car kit solution."
Necessary components for connecting a mobile phone to the Nokia Advanced Car Kit via Bluetooth wireless technology and cable are included in the sales package - except for the handsfree mobile holder, which can be purchased separately for the particular phone model used. Nokia recommends having the system installed by a qualified professional.
Furthermore Nokia has introduced another handsfree solution, the Nokia Headrest Handsfree BHF-3, supporting several phones using Nokia's Pop-Port(TM) connector. It can be mounted on the headrest bars of a car's front seat. The Nokia Headrest Handsfree is a convenient basic headrest handsfree with built-in microphone, speaker and detachable headrest unit. Both the Nokia Headrest Handsfree and the compatible Nokia phone are powered by the Nokia Mobile Charger DC-2 included in the sales package. The products are expected to be available in the third quarter of 2004.

Što kažete? Dobar izbor i za one s Nokiama sa Pop Portom i za one koji imaju neki drugi mobitel sa bluetoothom.
