The Nokia 6620 imaging phone is the first Symbian OS smartphone for the Americas market optimized for use on high-speed EDGE networks. Still images and video clips can be captured by the integrated VGA camera for real-time video streaming over the EDGE network using the built-in RealOne player. Users have the ability to use the 2x digital zoom and a self-timer feature to allow everyone to be included in a photo, whilst the extended memory enables the saving of thousands of images. It is based on the Series 60 platform that enables business and productivity tools such as mobile email, over-the air synchronization of PDA data, and a wide selection of third-party applications. The Nokia 6620 is expected to be available during Q2 of 2004.
