Tako da bi se svaki sljedeći software mogao JB- ati (pošto se taj bug ne može softwerski popraviti).

Apple has just posted record earnings for Q4 2010. They have managed to sold 14.1 million iPhones, 4.19 million iPads, 3.89 million Macs, and made around $20.34 billion in revenue this quarter. With these statistics, the Cupertino-based company once again has broken its own previous records.

Apple Silently Removes White iPhone 4 from Apple Store Online
Apple has silently removed white iPhone 4 option from its online store website. This move has come following the confirmation by an Apple representative who claimed another delay for the elusive handset until spring 2011, and the rumors of it being cancelled altogether in favor of iPhone 5.
Previously, there used to be an option for the white iPhone 4 with a little text under the image which read: "White iPhone currently unavailable for pre-order or in-store pickup”.
White iPhone 4 was first delayed back on the launch day when it was pushed to July, the second one was in July when it was delayed till “until later this year”. And then recently, Apple delayed it again until spring 2011.
Light-leakage has been tipped as the number reason behind all these delays.

Neznam meni link radi. Sto se tice Apple-tv-a neznam jeli to nesto sto bi bilo nezaboravno. Kako su napisali izgleda koda je neku update pravo dobar. Neznam sta bi mogli izbaciti da bude tako nezaboravno. Plus Apple Tv nije u svim zemljama svijeta tako da nevjerujem da je to. Meni zvuci kao nesto revolucijarno. Medjutim mozda je samo Apple marketing kao i uvijek.

GreenPois0n iOS 4.2.1 Tethered Jailbreak to Release Within a Few Days
The well known iPhone developer and hacker Joshua Hill of the Chronic Dev Team has provided an ETA for the arrival of updated GreenPois0n jailbreak tool for the newly released iOS 4.2.1 firmware. For those of you who don’t know, GreenPois0n is based on Geohot’s Limera1n bootrom exploit which has already pwned all current iOS devices for life. The only problem is that it is a tethered jailbreak, which means you will have to boot it into a “jailbroken state” using a tool like Redsn0w on every reboot.
This so called tethered or semi-tethered jailbreak however only applies to the new devices like: iPhone 3GS (new bootrom), iPhone 4, iPad, iPod touch 2G (MC Model), iPod touch 3G and the iPod touch 4G. Old devices like iPhone 3GS (old bootrom), iPhone 3G and iPod touch 2G (Non-MC Model) can be jailbroken-untethered right now using tools such as Redsn0w= Citat =:
GreenPois0n should be updated to support 4.2.1 (tethered or semitethered) within a few days.
So until and unless Comex of Spirit and JailbreakMe fame comes up with another untethered hack for iOS 4.2.1, the jailbreak we get for the newer devices will be tethered (or semi-tethered).

The iPhone Dev-Team has made good progress on the iOS 4.2.1 unlock and it should be available by Sunday for the iPhone 3G and 3GS. The iPhone 4 unlock will require a bit more time, according to MuscleNerd.

Not a Good Time for iPhone Unlockers
As it turns out, unlocked devices trying to upgrade to 4.2.1 will get locked on Recovery Mode and would not be able to use the device again until the device is restored via iTunes to an unlocked version of the OS:
Just yesterday, BigBoss got a tip that Apple had installed a baseband requirement for iOS, meaning that if you are running an unlocked phone and attempt to update to the latest iOS, you could get stuck in recovery mode until you restore to a regular version of the iOS via iTunes.
So what does this mean?
BigBoss recommends that unlockers stay as far away from iOS 4.2 as possible, even if for development.
If you’re not sure what unlocking means, then this won’t apply. Instead, I recommend that you readthis piece (oldie, but a goodie) on the difference between jailbreaking and unlocking before trying to make sense of what baseband and/or modems have to do with your iPhone.

Apple ove nedostatke može "zakrpati" samo izdavanjem novih prijenosnih naprava.

Earlier this month, Comex of Spirit and JailbreakMe fame confirmed that a more efficient userland-based untethered jailbreak method for iOS 4.2.1 will be released before Christmas 2010.
And now, MuscleNerd of iPhone Dev-Team has given further confirmation that a untethered jailbreak solution for iOS 4.2.1 is indeed in works, and that it will be ready for prime-time use somewhere around Christmas.

Some good news for iPhone 4 users who are waiting for an unlock on iOS 4.2.1, baseband 3.10.01 and 2.10.04. The Egyptian based and Neurosurgeon & iPhone Baseband hacker Sherif Hashim has replied to a user on Twitter, confirming of sorts that the unlock for iPhone 4 on the latest firmware and baseband isn’t too far off from release.

Next Version of Redsn0w Will Allow You To Untether iOS 4.2.1 Jailbreak With One-Click
MuscleNerd of iPhone Dev-Team has confirmed today that the next version of Redsn0w will include an option which will allow you to untether your iPhone jailbreak on iOS 4.2.1 without having to restore your device.
The advantage of this will be that you wont have to reinstall any of your iTunes’ or Cydia apps. All you ever have to do will be rerun Redsn0w jailbreak and it will be done!= Citat =:

SHAtter Bootrom Jailbreak Exploit Has Been Leaked
The SHAtter bootrom exploit which was saved at the last minute because of Geohot’s Limera1n for the next-gen iOS devices such as iPad 2 and iPhone 5 has been leaked.
SHAtter exploit was found by pod2g in the hardware of A4 based devices (iPhone 4, iPad, Apple TV 2G, iPod touch 4G) and was originally scheduled for the now infamous 10.10.10 (10th October 2010) release before Geohot made a surprise return with Limera1n jailbreak for all iOS devices.
P0sixninja of Chronic Dev team who worked on then SHAtter-based GreenPois0n tool accused MuscleNerd of iPhone Dev-Team publicly for leaking the exploit. MuscleNerd of course pleaded not guilty, and cleared his stance that why would he do it as he will need the jailbreak to work on unlock for the next iPhone. MuscleNerd also noted that there were like 15 to 20 others in the room when pod2g showed his SHAtter code for the first time.
Now what this drama means is that Apple is going to patch both Limera1n and SHAtter in one go for all the next-gen devices, and in a hardware revision for the current iOS devices.

znala sam :( a tak bu bilo i s unlockom...damn :(
Ja stvarno ne kuzim ovo natezanje sa unlockom i JB... Prije (doba 2g, 3g...) si dosao i odradio JB i ok, shvacam da ima ljudi koji nikad ne zele platiti za nekakav prog/igru...a u pocetku je dosta stvari nedostajlo u core fwu iphonea, pa je JB imao smisla (mms, video...)... Onda je bilo potrebno i napraviti unlock jer je Tmobile imao ekskluzivu kod nas, a naravno vecina ljudi nije bila spremna promjeniti mrezu radi telefona. I do tada je sve skupa imalo smisla. Bilo je jednostavno rijesenje to napraviti i JEDINO.
Danas je situacija da JB i unlock ne dolaze bas brzo nakon updatea fw.a, da JB radi nestabilno da moras probjeniti bb i tako si ujebat garanciju i zivit u neznanju da li ces moci restorat mob jednom natrag na tvornicki set ako ti treba garancija... Sa unlockom isto ne kuzim - iphone ima VIP, ima ga Tmobile dakle sve nase kartice osim Tele2 idu unutra.
U meduvremenu je iPhone dosao sa 2mpx kamere na onu od 5mpx sa AFom i bljeskalicom, od uredaja bez videa do HD snimanja.... i cemu je dovraga potrebno si toliko komplicirati zivot sa JBom i unlockom?
Kupis mob u mrezi u kojoj ti odgovara ili ako si bas na Tele2 ali neizdrzivo zelis iPhone dodas jos nesto love i kupis nezakljucani uredaj i peri ;) Redovito update , palis ga na gumb , a ne voodoo magijom prek kompa, aplikacije ionak 99% potrebnih imas na storeu...zivis i uzivas ;D
Neka mi nitko ne zamjeri, postujem tuda misljenja i odluke vezane uz ovo dvoje no jednostavno mi ne ide u glavu da se ljudima da zaj*bavat i cekat i cekat i cekat kad postoji drugo rijesenje...
meni je sbsetting dovoljan za cekanje JB uvijek! a onda jos par stvarcica ala iFile, safari i mail downloader bez kojih mail app postaje dosta ogranicen (privitci su mi vrlo bitni pa...)
treba mi unlock zato sto sam 4orku mogla jedino kupiti u vipu (citaj:priustiti si)...naime, mama je produzivala ugovor i dobila ga je 678kn...da sam ga kojim slucajem kupovala preko oglasnika ili u tmobileu, platila bih barem 5x toliko...na tmobileu sam i vezana ugovorom jos godinu dana...sto se tice JB, jedva cekam da dode pa da si stavim svoju temu i nariktam kak mi pase...a i da poskidam "free" aplikacije koje volim, a ne mogu platiti (ne jer nemam, nego nemam karticu)....zapravo, trenutno mi je bitniji unlock od JB, ali oboje je dobrodoslo :)
Unlock niti nemožeš napraviti bez JB-a. :)
Moj nije JB-an, više volim mogućnost stavljanja novog softa kad dođe, a ono kaj mi treba iPhone ima u sebi ili pomoću aplikacija s AppStore-a.
SBSettings-i su mrak stvar, ali sad s multitaskingom Settings-e stalno držim upaljene pa se i tako da preživiti. A teme i sl. me ne zanimaju.
No opet, tko voli, nek izvoli.
Paaa... meni treba za Tele2...iskreno..da, htio sam i uvijek bi rađe otključani kupio...ali razlika je na njuškalu 2k kn...a to nije malo... Pa eto...čekam unlock...ne jailbraik ali igrom slučaja...da bi napravio unlock treba mi jailbreak...tako da eto...da, u govnima sam...već dva mjeseca :D= Citat =:

Meni osobno netreba ni JB ni unlock, jer kad bi potpisa pretplatu recimo sa Vipom koristia bi njihovu pretplatu i karticu , a aplikacije ako mi je neka nužna radije bi je kupia i svaki updejt bia miran.... realno gledajuči ako bi koristia 150 aplikacija onda bi sigurno napravia JB, ali pošto me zanima recimo 15 aplikacija koje bi koristija najviše, njih kupim i miran sam ..... aplikacija 15 me kosta niti 100-150kn cca tako da nije to neka svota....

But if this statement from Comex is anything to go by, the untethered jailbreak for iOS 4.2.1 might be as simple as installing a package from Cydia over your existing Redsn0w tethered jailbreak – Yes, you don’t need to restore or re-jailbreak your device.

While the actual details about the state of the jailbreak are still unknown, but what we do know is that it is probably not coming by Christmas, as been confirmed yesterday by Comex himself.

Jasna mi je zelja/mogucnost kupiti ga za par stotina kuna umjesto za par tisuca ali kazes da si ugovorom vezana uz Tmobile - zasto nisu kod njih uzela iPhone kad si produljivala ugovor? Ja sam na taj nacin kupio i 3g i 3gs...tarifa i300 koja mi je taman i ispao me 398kn 3G (nova pretplata) i sada 98kn 3GS (produljenje pretplate uz bodove). Znam da pricamo o 4orki ali rađe imama 3GSa sad odmah nego se mucim sa svim navedenim, a da i uzimam 4orku lagano prodam 3GSa i uze nadoplatu od cca 1000kn dobijem 4orku...sto je opet daleko povoljnije nego ga kupovat "iz nule".= Citat =:

Kaj se tice kartice - pretpostavljam da ti mama/tata/brat/frend imaju karticu, a tih par dolara koje potrosis im lagano vratis... Dok nisam imao svoju regao sam od frenda karticu na iTunes, potrosio par dolara i dao njemu pare prije nego mu je sjelo na naplatu.

Bas sam sada malo usporedivao, ne cini mi se da je Tele2 toliko jeftiniji od Tmobilea tj neke iTarife (jer iPhone bez data plana je ko auto bez goriva u tanku ;D )...konkretno koristim i300 u kojoj imas 300min razgovora, 150 poruka mjesecno i 2GB prijenosa podataka - uvijek potrosim cca 90% od navedenog i racun mi je ravno 300kn...da koristim Tele2 u istoj kolicini koliko jeftinije ispadne? Imho mozda koju kunu ili par desetaka kuna kaj je opet dovoljno malo da se isplati potrosit ih kako bi imao iPhone... A za ove dvije jeftinjare (Tomato&Bonbon) ionako nije problem jer rade u VIP/Tmobile lockanim telefonima...= Citat =:

Bas to ;) Svi misle da ce potrositi stotine kuna ako koriste App Store, a imas realno mozda 100-200kn aplikacija i to je to...za vecinu appova koji se placaju ionako imas lite verziju da isprobas prije nego kupis full, pa znas tocno da li je to - to sto ti treba.= Citat =:

Ja sam pocistio sve iz tjunsa jer mi neke aplikacije nisu radile nakon migracije sa 3g na 3gs i kad sam ponovno kupio sve sto mi treba racun je ispao 14 dolara (80tak kn)... Iskreno jedina aplikacija koju bi zelio, a preskupa mi je za kupiti je TomTom navigacija (99USD) ali sa neimanjem samo jedne aplikacije mogu prezivjeti.
Opcenito mislim da je za nekoga tko bas mora imati nesto na mobitelu sto iPhone ne nudi ili je preskupo ili je potrebna kemija za dobiti puno bolji izbor kupiti drugi mob koji to odraduje savrseno nego se muciti i na kraju imati polu dobar proizvod.
Isao sam ljetos 2 tjedna na putovanje gdje sam znao da mi je dobar fotic na mobu must have, pa sam iPhone ostavio doma kupio c905 koristio ga dva tjedna i po povratku prodao. Ispalo me 150kn (kupio ga za 1500; prodao za 1350kn)... Mozda nije prava usporedba jer iPhone (3ojka) u ni jednoj varijant ne moze imati ne znam kako dobru kameru ali objasnjavam princip - ako mi treba nesto sto iPhone nema onda ne treba izmisljat toplu vodu nego se jednostavno okrenuti drugom proizvodacu.
Ionako previse ljudi ima iPhone kako bi valjda pokazalo status u drustvu ili im je samo lijep ili su ga kupili "slucajno"... Najvise volim pitanja "kako iskljuciti internet da mi ne trosi"...
Uostalom jedna xperia x8 nudi jako puno toga, a kosta xy puta manje nego iPhone - nemres j. da ti ne uđe ;D ;D
PS: Jos jednom bez uvrede bilokome samo razmisljam naglas...
