To manually remove DownloadWare,

1. Open registry editor ( click Start > Run, type regedit and click Ok )
2. Expand the key: HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run , find and remove the 'DownloadWare' value.
3. Find and remove the following registry entries also:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\ DownloadWare;
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\WebInstall;
Close the registry editor.
4. Open the Task Manager (Ctrl-Alt-Del), and terminate the process called 'Dw' if it is still running.
5. Delete the 'DownloadWare' folder in the Program Files directory.
