Leaks are the great problem of many large companies now. Today we talk about SonyEricsson. A photo of a new model – SonyEricsson T69 was appeared in the net. Until recently it wasn’t showed even to partners. It’s easy to guess that T69 is a GSM-phone (not CDMA) and it is the next model after very popular phone SonyEricsson T68i. It would’ve seemed that the new model could have no innovations, as T68i is rich in technological features. But even several new features were added to T69. First of all, the phone supports 16-tones polyphony. Those, who used it, said that it was quite acceptable and comparable with Siemens S55. Secondly, the phone is equipped with 65K color TFT display (according to preliminary specifications for commercial deliveries). Finally, the phone has an integrated VGA camera. Theoretically it allows to take photos of high resolution (up to 640ő480 pixels). In reality low resolution are in much demand today because such images could be used as screen savers either of a phonebook or a whole screen. Besides, the phone supports Java, voice memo, voice dialing, bluetooth. In short, it has all features of the previous model. Dimensions of the phone are 1/3 lesser than T68 has and comparable with the smallest phones of the company. We think that a depth of the handset is rather large, taking in account its width.

Front cover is made of anodized aluminum or, rather, Aluminum Alloy. Slight differences concern phone positioning; it is characterized as the first fashion handset of a new generation. First commercial deliveries for operators and retail chain-stores would be in June 2003. An expected price is 350 USD. All information mentioned above is preliminary; the model would be announced in February or even earlier. Then, we could learn more about it. Also, soon SonyEricsson will introduce another model, equipped with two integrated cameras and other very interesting features. Let’s wait a little bit.
