Učitavanjem BaseCamp ™ možete planirati i nadgledati svoje putovanje, rute, tragove i točke, te ih prenositi sa uređaja na računalo. Uz BaseCamp možete koristiti svoje karte učitane sa microSD kartice. Dovoljno je samo staviti karticu ili spojiti uređaj s računalom i možete početi željeno planiranje uz 3D prikaz na računalu . Sa funkcijom za iscrtavanje traga korisnici mogu iscrtati neprekinuti trag i dobiti brzo visinski profil kako bi vidjeli koliko je težak uspon ili zahtjevna geocache pustolovina.

Notes:

* Windows XP Service Pack 3 or later is required.
* .NET framework 3.5 SP1 is required. A current version of .NET will be installed if needed.
* Windows Media Player 11 or greater is required (a free download from Microsoft).
* 1 GB of system memory is required, 2 GB of system memory is recommended when using BirdsEye Imagery or Garmin Custom Maps.
* A video card that supports OpenGL version 1.3 or later is needed to enable the 3D view.
* If you experience problems when interacting with the map views, please make sure that you have installed current video card drivers.
* BaseCamp will recognize all MapSource products except BlueChart.
* BaseCamp does not work with serial GPS devices.

* Fixed an issue when changing map detail level before putting focus into the map views.
* Fixed an issue where the creation date of a photo waypoint didn't match the creation date of the photo's EXIF data
* Fixed an issue with waypoints sometimes not being shown on the map
