Got a LG GT500 or a GT505 on t-mobile or any other network and cant stand the branded firmware? just follow this guide to de-brand your phone and get rid of it all, the gt505 firmware works on the gt500 with no loss of features (tested by myself as working)
Instructions

1.Download the Méga Pack GT505 from the link given which contains the files and firmware you need for the gt500 and the gt505: http://rapidshare.com/files/38034257..._Mega_Pack.rar
2.Extract the file to your desktop or wherever you want, then go in the folder named “Logiciel 1”, Run the file "LGDP2_31_INCLUDE_LGDP1_Setup.exe" and enter the key provided in "serial_number.txt". (An error message will appear at end, just ignore and perss OK). A folder will be created in C:\DOWNLOAD with the installed files.
3.Copy the software in “Logiciel 1” to the folder C:\DOWNLOAD, then double click the key C:\DOWNLOAD\LGDP2 _CS.reg to register.
4.Go back to the folder you extracted onto the desktop, and go to the "Drivers USB" folder and run the file named "installme.bat”. This will install the drivers
5.Turn off your phone, Plus the usb end into the computer / laptop, then Press and hold the Volume up key and connect the usb cable to the phone, once connected after about 3 seconds let go / release the volume up key
6.Your computer will now install the drivers, if it does not find them, show it the folder named “Drivers USB”.
7.Make sure your phone is charged enough, if its not, let it charge a while.
8.Launch achievable "C:\DOWNLOAD\LGDP2_V35_UMTS.exe" then click on OK, it will say dll missing or not found, dont worry just press ok
9.In the window which appears, put a tick on only box COM1 then under DLL Selection press the 3 dots and navigate to the DLL folder on the desktop “DLL\ GT500_090601_MP.dll”
10.Click on “Run Download Configuration” then select line COM1.
11.Disconnect the cable, then re-do the Volume up + connection of the cable. Quickly click on the button “SET”. A number should appear in “UsbAddr”. Start again if nothing appears.
12.Again if you phone needs to charge, let charge it…
13.In LGE Image, click on “Add” and select all the visible files of the file “Firmware_V10B”
14.Do the same as above for the LGE GDFS click add then just select all visible files.
15.Click several times on OK in order to close all the windows
16.Click on “Start” in top on the left
17.Disconnect the telephone, then re-do the Volume up + connection of the cable.
18.The flashing does not start all just wait!
