Hi all, we know many of you are eagerly awaiting the Android 2.2 (FroYo) upgrade for Milestone and as we are now finalising testing with our various customers and carriers across a number of markets, we wanted to share details of new features, as well as multiple shortcuts and enhancements you will receive with the upgrade. Firstly, Wi-Fi tethering will be supported, as will Adobe® Flash® Player 10.1, which you will be able to download via Android Market. FroYo will also feature improved security with complex numeric and alphanumeric password options.

Further to our earlier features update re. features you can expect from the Android 2.2 (FroYo) software update, we can also confirm that users will now be able to view PDFs and Microsoft® Office files sent from Outlook® 2003,Yahoo!,® and Outlook Express email accounts, as well as TXT file attachments from email accounts. Users will also benefit from enhanced browser performance for faster loading of JavaScript heavy pages - making browsing much quicker and easier.
