The quickest way to get maps on your SD card is via a SD card reader/writer. Simply find the folder on the CD map that contains the map(s) you wish to put on your SD card. Copy and paste the folder into the root directory of your SD card.

The files in the folder should look something like this:
setup.dat
poi.dat
traffic.dat
tmccodes.dat
cline.dat
mapinfo.dat
faces.dat
cnode.dat

There are two other files in the folder with file names depending on the map you choose. For example for the West map, the file names are:
West.mid
West.pna

Once you reinsert your SD card, open TomTom Navigator, Change Preferences, Manage Maps, then select the map(s) (you can only select one map at a time) you loaded. You'll need to enter the activation code for the map.
