Dotsis,a transcendental site for mobile downloads seems to have suddenly disappeared from the face of the earth.The site which boasts of a 30,000 member strength,started experiencing problems a few days back.This unfortunately happened to coincide with the time when Demonoid,a torrent site was taken down by Canadian Cyber authorities as a check against piracy.Rumours ran agog on the cyber world that Dotsis had faced a similar nemesis owning to the fact that most of the software hosted on the site was illegal.Dotsis users,being aficionados that they are,ranted and raved as they found themselves suddenly denied of the site dear to their heart,yours truly being no exception.
However,there are no official reports that the site has been TAKEN DOWN by the CRIA or RIAA(the soul reavers of Demonoid,ha ha).No information has yet come from the site admins or the owner(who got married 2 weeks back).So there's very less chance that the site has fallen victim to the suddenly stringent cybercrime division,given that official reports about Demonoid's decommission were issued in a short time.
According to current discussions,Dotsis is now going through a Server upgrade(which it badly requires considering the uncanny amount of traffic the site gets) and ergo will be back in a week...Well,as the adage goes,Lets hope for the best!
