Well, installing Sony Ericsson J2ME SDK just for playing games on PC is rather strange but anyway the best emulator is bundled with it. Also there's a good feature to make screenshots of the running apps

This emulator supports all current phones and any kind of apps including Mascotte Capsule, JSR-184, Bluetooth etc.

So firstly download and install Sun J2ME SDK
Then most of us are running WinXP so DX8.0 or higher is available as well as Windows Script.
Second, download and install Sony Ericsson J2ME SDK from here

Then install add-on pack for new models.

How to run a java game on a PC
1. Choose default device: click start > programs > sony ericsson > j2me sdk > wtk2 > default device selection
2. Create a jad file (I use jadmaker)
3. start > programs > sony ericsson > j2me sdk > wtk2 > run midp application
select jad and enjoy playing!
