Information about PSP Flash update

Recently, on web bulletin boards and blogs, a flash upgrade image file has been circulating for the PSP. This update was not an "official" release from SONY and is not supported in any way.

Using this update to flash your PSP will cause it to become non-functional. DO NOT USE THIS FLASH UPDATE.

If the update has already been ran, you will need to send your PSP back to Sony for repair as it cannot be re-flashed by the user. This can be done for a fee.

In the future, please only use the official rom updates from the Link to the original japanese article
