BenQ-Siemens EF91, S81 and EF51 presented
BenQ Mobile today presented 3 new phones at the 3GSM congress in Cannes. The EF91 is a HSDPA (faster UMTS) phone with QVGA screen and 3.2MP camera. The S81 is a 13mm thin UMTS phone and the EF51 is a rather unusual type of music phone. We will be back with more info and pictures. The phone below is the EF91.

BenQ Mobile, the business division of the BenQ Corporation, has just crossed a milestone in mobile devices with the launch of the EF91, the world’s first mobile to carry HSDPA technology. HSDPA stands for “High Speed Downlink Packet Access,” which describes a technology that enables a data transfer speed in the UMTS network that is several times faster than the conventional standard. Now live television, video downloads and mobile Internet surfing can become a high-speed experience on the mobile phone. Thanks to HSDPA, shaky pictures seen during video calls are also a thing of the past.
Using modern multimedia technology, the BenQ-Siemens EF91 brings fun and entertainment to day-to-day communication with friends, family and colleagues. This clamshell mobile combines a high-resolution digital camera and modern mobile phone in one compact device. Precious moments can be captured spontaneously in pictures whilst on the move at any time with the aid of the integrated 3.2 megapixel camera with autofocus, digital zoom, photolight and camcorder function. Sharing pictures with friends is now easier via the mobile data transfer.
Apart from viewing personal photo and video shots in brilliant quality on the large, 2-inch TFT mobile display (240 x 320 pixels, 262,000 colors), the latest news and stock market prices can also be read conveniently on the Internet whilst on the move. Music and video clips can be downloaded directly from the Internet onto the EF91 equally effortlessly via HSDPA technology. All multimedia content can be stored on microSD cards, which can simply be plugged into the slot provided on the mobile phone. The built-in MP3 music player boasts novel 3D surround sound that makes for realistic sound effects. Various Bluetooth® headsets provide wireless listening enjoyment in stereo sound quality. These include the Headset Bluetooth® Stereo (EU/UK) HHB-180/181 with remote control functions for the EF91. Moreover, hands-free calls can be made using the light and modern Headset Bluetooth® Clip (EU/UK) 130/131. The cutting-edge technology in the EF91 is also reflected in the top-notch Car Kit Bluetooth® SIM HKW-720.

At only a slender 13 mm, the S81 is one of the slimmest UMTS-mobiles on the market to offer complete UMTS functionality without compromising one millimeter on design. The BenQ-Siemens S81 garnered the 2006 international iF Design Award for its exceedingly elegant and valuable appearance. It is the ideal mobile phone for discovering the diverse possibilities of mobile communication. The BenQ-Siemens S81 is also perfectly equipped for video calls with a second camera (VGA) above the large 2-inch TFT screen (262,144 colors, 176 x 220 pixels). Calls can then be made face to face in handsfree mode or with the Headset Bluetooth® Comfort (EU/UK) HHB-160/161 (available as an accessory) to friends and colleagues. The Headset connects wirelessly via the mobile’s Bluetooth® interface and permits a particularly high level of comfort, weighing in at only 19g.
The S81 UMTS all-rounder provides a 1.3 megapixel camera with 10x digital zoom, LED photolight and separate camera key for spontaneous snapshots. A photo editor is also integrated for subsequently touching up the photos. Special moments can even be captured in moving pictures on the built-in camcorder.
The elegant S81 does not only offer multimedia enjoyment, but is also a trusted companion in daily business life. Because of its built-in organizer function, all key data can be synchronized easily with an office PC. The S81 permits access to current appointments, address data, personal memos and e-mails in an instant. This enables waiting times to be spent meaningfully and allows the working day to be organized more efficiently. If the internal telephone memory (30 MB) is insufficient for all data, photos and movies, the mobile’s storage capacity can be extended to up to 1 GB using microSD™ cards.

Even a large music collection will find ample room on the interchangeable miniSD™ cards. Songs stored on a PC can be easily transferred onto the mobile using the USB data cable supplied. The stereo headset that comes with the mobile ensures excellent sound quality. Anyone wishing to listen wirelessly to music on the move can use the Headset Bluetooth® Stereo (EU/UK) HHB-180/181 with remote control, which is available as an original accessory. The EF51’s high battery capacity (870 mAh) ensures long-lasting music pleasure. To keep it charged while on the road, the practical Car Charger ECC-150 is also available.
The EF51 is a high-quality mobile phone equipped with an integrated 1.3 megapixel digital camera. Concealed under a flap at the front of the mobile is the phone’s keypad. Supported by music formats MIDI , XMF and MP3, 64 different ringtones can be selected.

meni se osobno dizajnom ne sviđaju...
...mora da ja imam neki poseban ,naime meni se svidaju ovaj prvi i treči.
pa cuj, o ukusima se na raspravlja zar ne...
kome se sviđa kupiti ce ga, kome ne, nece i to je to...ja osobno padam na funkcije mada narano volim da mi se mob i svidi dizajnom...

prvi preklopni uopće da mi se svidio................
..pa ni ovaj ef51 mi sad na drugi pogled nije loš!

meni se najvise sviđa S81 dizajnom, no u biti ni jedan mi nije bas nesto posebno...
EF91 mi je sada još ljepši................
