You need -
-An E720/E810 flashing cable with 9v battery connector
-A fully charged 9v battery
-Optiflash v4.16 T (copy from www.phantomgsm.com)
-The firmware of your choice in .s3 format (E720XXEE1 is out there, just gotta search)
The steps-
1. Load Optiflash
2. Go to Options-Settings-Generic and select the appropriate platform (E720 - UARTS if using a serial cable, E720 -USB if using a USB cable) and make sure the 'differences only' box is checked
3. Make sure Optiflash knows which COM port your cable is connected to in the next tab and set the speed to 115200 if using serial and 921600 if using USB
4. In the next tab, select where the firmware you're about to flash is located on your hard drive, and make sure no memory locations are being reserved
4. Close the settings tab
MAKE SURE YOU FOLLOW THIS WORD FOR WORD
5. Power off the phone and remove the battery/sim card -DON'T PUT THE BATTERY BACK IN
6. Plug the cable into your PC (if you haven't already) and your phone, and make sure it is CLOSED
7. Attach the 9v battery
8. Click 'flash' - Optiflash should verify the .s3 file first before prompting you to power on your phone
9. When Optiflash asks you to power on your phone, open it and press the power button for 1 second and close it again
10. Optiflash should now be loading the firmware onto the phone. This will take approx 45 mins by serial and much quicker if using USB.
