Main features & functions: Sharp IM-MT880 is Sharp's first NetMD MDLP MiniDisc recorder with playback time of up to 33 hours in LP4. Revolutionary NetMD feature allows high speed (SP 2-4X/LP2 16X/LP4 32X faster than realtime) transfer of sound and text data between PC and MD (both downloading and uploading) through OpenMG Jukebox software (same copyright protection software used on Sony Memory Stick player see OpenMG). Sharp's unique 7 color LED light around the USB terminal to indicate data transfer. Also comes with recharging standRedesigned LCD remote with the world's first two color/line LCD MiniDisc remote display. New group function with various grouping features (delete, move, change, booking, arrange). Introduction reproduction to play 5 seconds of each song - good for song searching in MDLP modes and Character stamp function to copy text information between MD to MD. Using "digital recording level control" unit adjust recording level of digital sources into the same level when recording finishes.
