These are instructions on how to perform an untethered jailbreak on your iPhone using the Spirit Jailbreak and Windows.

To follow these instructions you must be using an activated device not stuck on the Connect to iTunes or Emergency Call screen.

Any version of iTunes 9 til 9.1.1 will work.

Step One

Download the Spirit Jailbreak from here and save it to your desktop.

Step Two

Double click the Spirit application on your desktop to launch it

*Important: If you have Windows 7 you may need to run Spirit in compatibility mode for Windows 98. Before launching right click Spirit.exe and select Properties from the contextual menu. Then from the Compatibility tab select Windows 98 from the Compatibility Mode dropdown. Click Apply then Ok

Step Three

Connect your iPhone and press the Jailbreak button.

Step Five

The Spirit app will then let you know the jailbreak is complete.

Your iPhone will reboot and show you progress indicator. Once this finishes your iPhone will be jailbroken with Cydia installed!

It is a jailbreaking only tool like blackra1n which can jailbreak the stock iPhone 3.1.3, iPad 3.2 on almost all the iDevices – MC/non-MC, new bootrom/old bootrom on iPhone 2G/3G/3GS, iPod touch 1G/2G/3G and iPad/iPad 3G.

It is also important to note here is that “Spirit” is not fake. It has been confirmed as “genuinely working” by iPhone Dev Team, which alongside Geohot is one of the most authentic source of iPhone jailbreaks and unlocks.

After all these release updates and delays, it is hard to pick a specific release date now, but it shouldn’t be too far off. If not this weekend, then maybe next week? well who knows. The jailbreak woes continues..

Makar mi to nema smisla da puste sada to fino na net, ovi iz Applea ce sigurno taj JB analizirat i zakrpat te rupe u tom novom OSu
Tak da mislim da nece bas to bit neki uspjeh :/

A, možda su i našli neki bug hardwareske prirode- kao kod iPhonea (ako se ne varam).
Bug koji se ne može popraviti- ako ti ne poklone novi uređaj :D

provjereno radi ..citao sam sad na mac korisniku,jedva cekam da dojdem doma sa posla :D

mene je ocito moj ajfon odlucio zaje*avat koliko god moze.
probao sam i ovaj postupak i javi mi ovo

stavi compatibility na Windows 98 i pokreni kao administrator

probao sam na xp-u i uspjelo mi je. palo mi je i to sta kazes na pamet kad sam procitao jos sta pise al nisam vidio kako :)
sad koliko se sjecam dodam one sorce-eve i skidam ko veliki.

ja sam dobio cydiu na ipod touch 3g 32gb ali kad skinem krekanu aplikaciju na komp i preko itunesa napravim synce pise mi error, kao kad nije jailbreak, da li treba nesto skinut sa cydie mozda ili se jailbreaka odmah preko kompa

mislim da trebas prvo nesto skinut sa app storea(free) pa onda mozes ove

jel se moze poslije tog jb-a napravit unlock ili nemoze,jer sad imam verziju 3.1.2. i otkljucan na tele2

nemoze, molim nekog ak zna sta treba napravit nakon sto mi se instalira cydia da bi mogao prebacivat krekane aplikacije na ipod

Mislim da moras instalirat neki program AppSync, tako nekak se zove.
Imas jos u tutovima od Blackra1n-a taj link di skinut tu aplikaciju :)

Hmm nekaj me za*ebava JB

Na iPhone-u sve super sljaka, al stavim ja fino iPod da mi se JB-a i kad ono prikopcam ga na komp i pokrenem aplikaciju kao admin i pritisnem Start on mi izbaci ovo:
dl.exe has stopped working

Jel zna itko u cem je problem?

EDIT: RIjesio sam, samo sam ga morao pokrenut kao Win 98 pod postavkama :)

hmmm sad udjem u cydiu i vidim gore gdje je pisalo o shsh file-u pise sljedece: shsh notice is temporarily disabled insane traffic to tss server due to spirit release has made looking up what blobs are on file ainfully slow so slow tis page doesnt even load and users get giant error

lijepo ako radi, ali ja ću rađe pričekat još 2 mjeseca za dolazak 4.0 i njegovog JB-a. jer ne da mi se opet instalirati aplikacije koje imam.

i ja, prva liga, sve radi super..

Znači, ovo radi i na 3.1.3? Ima li veze sa datumom proizvodnje ili?
