Gem, the E1000

It has been a busy few days for handset manufacturers and the pace doesn't show any signs of slowing with Motorola making an announcement of it's newest 3G handset, the E1000.

The E1000 is touted by Motorola as being light, small and stylish and loaded with fun features. The E1000 has (PoC)Push to talk over cellular allowing users to call friends, family and colleagues at the push of a button. There is an integrated 1.2 Mpixel camera for sharing images with friends, a 262K colour QVGA display to view them on, MP3 player, expandable memory (Triflash R), and Bluetooth connectivity to round out the major features. This handset is expected to be avaliable in Q2 2004
